Stonebrook Companies Acquire Historic Federal Trust Building in Downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, NE – Stonebrook Companies has announced the acquisition of the iconic Federal Trust Building, located at 134 S. 13th Street in the heart of downtown Lincoln. The 12-story, 64,000-square-foot structure was purchased from Triad Investments, LLC..

Built in the Gothic Revival style, the Federal Trust Building is a cornerstone of Lincoln’s architectural landscape. Under the leadership of Steve Kunkel and Jason Reinke, Stonebrook Companies plans to restore the building’s historic charm while incorporating modern upgrades to meet today’s commercial needs.

As part of the revitalization, the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) will relocate its headquarters to the building, marking a significant milestone for both the organization and the property’s next chapter.

BluCor Construction Group is currently completing renovations on four of the building’s floors. These updates will blend timeless architectural details with modern functionality to support future tenants and business operations.

“We’re excited to breathe new life into this important piece of Lincoln’s history,” said Jason Reinke, Co-Owner of Stonebrook Companies. “Our vision is to preserve its architectural integrity while transforming it into a thriving hub for professionals and organizations like the NHA.”

Stonebrook Companies looks forward to sharing more updates as plans for the Federal Trust Building progress.
