Our masonry team, consisting of Brent and Jackson, had a fantastic weekend as they joined forces with students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Future Architectural Design program for the American Masonry Alliance event at Yankee Hill Brick. Their collaboration resulted in the team clinching first place in the competition!
With approximately 15 masons and 90 students participating, the event involved the construction of mock-ups using block and brick based on their team leader’s design. Judging criteria encompassed craftsmanship, creativity, and teamwork.
We couldn’t be prouder to see Brent and Jackson leading the way and showcasing the exceptional skill and talent that we uphold every day at Stonebrook. Congratulations are also due to all the students who took part, competing for scholarship prizes. The future of architecture and masonry looks incredibly promising indeed!
